I was at the game. My seats are in the end zone mezzanine, the end one they were going towards. All we could see was Sanchez drop back and then rush forward, and then a Patriot running into the end zone. We didn't see what exactly had happened until we saw the replay. One of the worst Jet games I have been to.

That is the beauty of baseball games. 90% of the time they run long, so extra inventory must be placed. Great for the advertisers as they can get free units, sucks for the people at the network when the shows the baseball game are running over get preempted.

I'm guessing anything Super Bowl will be pretty much absurd. And one in-game ADU in the World Series would make up any liability that Fox was carrying for a certain advertiser. If Fox had the available inventory for they were probably able to make several deals whole with the in-game units.

ADUs (audience deficiency units) are given out on a regular basis by almost every network (unless you are AMC and every show you have blows the estimate out of the water). Pre and post game shows often don't have high estimates anyway. In game programming is another deal. And Super Bowl units are a whole other…

This is from South Carolina where HS football is a pretty big deal, and they only crack $100k. This also includes the "athletic director" title. Not a bad gig. Bet Texas or Florida has some big salaries.
