Pretty sure this is what a Bronco based pickup looks like

Did you even bother reading the first paragraph of this article?

hey sell worksite spec trucks. Anyone can go buy one. It comes in a single cab with steel wheels, rubber floors, and 3 front, cloth seats.

This. The new Ranger pricing is just skewed too high compared to what F150s sell for. And my guess it is almost all to grab extra margin rather than engineering development teams missing their cost targets. The packaging set up also seems to be designed to drive prices higher.

The current Ranger is a bit longer than the old extended cab. But it’s monstrous compared to the old single cab short bed.

F150s are outselling Rangers because Ford is foolish with pricing them so close together. There was a time when the price gap for a F150 and a Ranger is big enough to make you choose wisely. Now, it’s the “more bang for your buck” option.

My other problem with modern trucks in general, and every manufacturer is guilty

This right here.

Made an account for this post, long long time lurker though. I went from knowing nothing about DIY wrenching, to engine swapping my Lexus IS300 with the bigger 2JZGTE, replacing the twin turbos with a big single, a bunch of other mods, and now currently CD009 6speed swapping it. I’ve come a long way in the last 3-4

When I went to remove my license plate this week I went through a screwdriver, a pair of vise-grips, and then a Porsche technician with a ratchet and a step drill.

I went with Plastidip, because it’s a bit more forgiving and much easier to remove if you screw it up.

If your situation progresses to the point where you get a notice for a court hearing SHOW UP, even if you can’t find an attorney. In a lot of places that initial hearing is a docket call and if you want to dispute you eviction they’ll set it for arguments at a later date. Unfortunately, you might not have great

The Bronco is better as a daily and far more practical in a lot of ways. It’s a much more useful vehicle. A lot of people could get away with a Bronco being their only vehicle, so $45k for one might not be unreasonable.

“Track Focused”

Also for the same price, I found:

It’s the ultimate expression of the FF platform (the manual thing is a real bummer though). But at that price you’re talking about some serious competitors in the performance car market, and some REALLY fast and special used vehicles. Camaro SS? Mustang GT? Fucking Aston Vantage???

This entire article is fucking hilarious and rings fucking true for me. I had the fucking Prius III, which shared many of the fucking annoyances you enumerate— the spring-loaded non-fucking-intuitive shifter, the fucking beeping (which as you point out wouldn’t be needed INSIDE the fucking car if the shifter weren’t,

You almost had it, almost, but then you said “appliance car.” Nope, that’s not it at all.

I hate cars that beep at you.
“Beep! There’s a car to your left!”
I know, car. I have eyes.
“Beep! Hey, did you know a software update is available for the maps that shows you the road’s speed?”
No, and I don’t care. I read road signs like any competent person.
“Beep! Just wanted to tell you the door’s open!”
I KNOW! I’M

When I sold them (Gen 1-3) I would ask the person how much they liked computers. Mind you this was 2000-2008, so there was still a (shrinking) subset of (typically older) people who didn’t have a computer in their house that they regularly used but were still looking to own a fuel efficient car.
