Not weird, or at least, you're not alone. I noticed that with my old iPhone 3G tho. Often I would actually mistake it for an SMS arrive vibrate. Not yet noticed on my iPhone 4.

I agree! The easiest way to cure something is to ignore what causes it. Too many researchers get all hung up and waste time and money on that whole "cause-effect" nonsense.
They will have two iPads. The cost of carrying all that paper around for a fleet that size is literally hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. And yes, that is an informed statement.
And a biscuit.
In New Zealand, I can tell you of at least one "single controller" tower that has a radio transceiver in the toilet stall for precisely that situation. Let the toilet humor begin...
@imaeffinginger: It may well be a legitimate question depending on context. Thirty years ago, the meaning of billion was widely held to mean either one million million (English) or one thousand million (American). Wikipedia cites that it may still refer to one million million in long scale.
@David Corso: Easy, yes. So is chemical pneumonia. This shit is potentially FATAL if you have not done full research on what fuels to use, and how to do it. One video on Gizmodo does not count.
Seriously to God, do NOT attempt to learn firebreathing using kero or similar spirits by yourself. If you inhale by error (and it's easy to do) your lungs are permanently and irrevocably F*CKED. Learn from someone who has done it before as a performer, and practice in the shower with water for a solid month first.
"Subjects were able to predict the appearance of the pornographic picture 53.1% of the time—significantly above the statistical average of 50%."
@SlimDan22: So, she's got a new job waiting at the TSA?
@Brian Peter Gluckman: Outstanding.
@KillerMuffinTops: So glad it's finally been said. If anyone seriously thinks a person threatening a planeload of passengers with a knife, boxcutter or gun isn't going to be torn to pieces in 30 seconds flat just doesn't get it. Short of suicide bombing, the power of fear that the 9/11 terrorists relied on to achieve…
Augmented reality...
@Jacobm001: If this graph was the Afghanistan war, then you might have a point.
@telepheedian: iirc, the iPhone BT stack is strictly limited and does not support serial ports. Yeah. I know. God forbid that the iPhone should be able to talk to other devices that Apple can't control. While jailbreaking may fix that problem, it's not particularly helpful for for companies who want to sell…
Another classic example of form over function. For every second you save lining up the hole *just so* you spend five seconds picking up the small punched piece of paper off the floor where it fell. I'll take a standard hole punch with waste collector every time. But it shore do look purdy.
@That Shy Guy: Or the height of a yacht mast. Foreshortening is also at play here due to a long lens.
@Hvedhrungr: Heh. My favourite was
@unicornsauce: I just hope the pilots weren't Watchmen fans...
@unicornsauce: Given this is a test flight of a new aircraft, it's probably for the 'relaxation' of the pilot!
