@Gonne: Ha as someone who has dreadfully curly hair (like think Victorian doll) - perm or it didn't happen.

@Gonne: I guess she got a perm them, because Pond always had straight hair.

@John_Hazard: Me as well. I will never think of faeries the same way thanks to Felicia Day.

This is why I hate and love io9 at the same time. I feel compelled to watch Mannequin right now. Omg that movie was my first foray into so bad its good and possibly cycling back to bad moviedom.

@Annalee Newitz: Oh a vacation and a show out from Annalee? What more can a girl ask for this holiday season!

Thank you so so so much for this! I'll be heading to Tokyo on Wed and have tons of down time.

Ok I love me some Being Human and George is by far my favorite character. I kind of like what they have done here with him - but OMG everyone else is an awful diluted copy of the original.

@ManchuCandidate: I myself blame it for my inability to do math. I kissed that part of my brain goodbye after watching this drek.

@collex: Wait if that is true then not much to worry about here then.

@ShadowStaarr: Question is when is not a good time to invest in a flame thrower?

@tattooedjunecleaver: Ok maybe your cousin has an excuse. My MOTHER took me to go see the film. It just happened to be playing at the time and she wasn't much into film. Sat in the front row with my younger 4 year old sister, and threw up at then end because I was so anxious.

@ShadowStaarr: This is fake right? Things like this don't happen right?

@Aidan_ says: Oditores odituri sunt: I could think of strategies in a world where the crawlers are just shuffling corpses. Where they have the ability to learn and adapt as well as no sense of pain.........

@Pavement clawing maniac: Seconded. I could see the same fanboy level devotion and opportunity for comedy. Plus, I'm pretty sure they'd at least deal with costumes and that alone would ensure my ticket purchase.

I thought it was interesting that they could use tools. It opens the whole show up to new situations and I think the zombie genre at this point could use it.

I have never been so scared and excited by the same thing ever. My biggest fear is zombies, and yet the show/comic seems like it will be a really fun ride.

The Will + Emma scenes forced to pause Hulu a couple of times. I don't know why but it made me giggle and need to take a moment. It was just soo.. embarrassingly ridiculous for the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed it tho.

@Beatcamel: I actually saw that in theaters. I think my only excuse for that is that I was a misguided youth......

I read Sandman Slim and felt it lacking, but am such a sucker for sequels. It's like I have to know what happened at the end, and if it goes on further I'm hooked. Maybe it gets better? The article has me convinced to give it another go.
