Then all the hard work my mother did to ensure that we (my sister + me) did not grow up to into "whores or lesbians" was for nothing? She could have just taken a supplement! Now I will never hear the end of that.

I lived in Florence and I made tons of friends. Guy friends mostly.

The only reason I think this could hold water at is RTD wants to become a powerhouse in America. He also tried to move Torchwood to Fox and failed. Now it is a co-production with Starz and BBC.

@chainsawbunny: Maybe her powers will not work if she is turned. Since she can't read vampires since they have no brainwaves? Maybe she wouldn't be able to do so because whatever she is using would also be dead? Or undead rather.

I have been waiting for this all day. I just have 2 points.

@FroderickFronkensteen: Aw I actually saw that in the theater. Damn PA's small town theater pricing. At $3 it was irresistible.

The concept of super ginge will ensure that this eppy will have it in the running for one of my favorite episodes.

@Natasha Phillips: Makes you seriously wonder why? I mean why does she love him so much for being so old? Why hang onto someone that hates you? How come she is never around her maker?

@MsLongstocking: That is why he said never and was so intent on making it a hatefuck.

@SquidIceCream: In the preview for next week Franklin wants to turn Tara apparently. So, I guess overall it is encouraged?

The thing about the Bill/Lorena scene many people seem to be missing is that even though she "released" him she is still his maker. She can still "command" him - remember the scenes from Dallas? Where they were both stuck in the hotel room? She would not leave him leave via her will and beating the crap out of him?

@curiousgeorgiana: Though in the episode in Dallas he could not leave the room due to her orders. Remember? I think she "released" him from having to be with her all the time, but that sure doesn't mean she cannot command him.

When I was small enough I loved demis, but cannot find anything of that ilk in my size.

@MsLongstocking: I was under the assumption that she falls in love in with a native? I remember some criticisism about othering. Honestly, I have no idea.

I have never read the book, but for some reason I was always under the assumption she wound up with an Indian man. Bardem is not Indian, so did they change it for the narrative?

@chipclip: Thank you for selling me on this movie. That is exactly what I wanted to watch it for! Now off to enjoy a midday movie screening due to unemployment.

@Calisee: Ha where you the first time the merry-go-round?

@terifinn: I rented it when I was sick. I figured this would be an amazing movie to watch while out from work sick. Ugh - not so much.

@MissMonk: She has a bad coke habit? Is this a blind or kind of well known?
