@andriah: It is really weird the way it is contextualized in their culture. It was during the meiji when the culture became much more chauvinistic. So the more Western the setting/situation the more you will see the paternalistic attitudes.

I think it is great that the first lady is into fitness for her children. Though I think her kids are a bit young for the gym. I mean playing sports - perfect! Bench pressing at their age, maybe a bit much.

Chris Klein honestly if you thought mentioning American Dreamz was going to win you the role - you seriously need better people. That movie is only good for all the wrong reasons.

@sloe-eyed: Thanks. I have a cat, so I don't think it is a possibility right now. She likes to kill things for fun. Like for example, yesterday she caught a fly hurt it and let it go. All so she could play with it some more. I fear a hedgehog currently would not be long for this world in my home.

@der gugelhupf: I never said that I believed that women do use it as form of birth control. I know people who have had it done and so I know about all the work that goes into it. I was in a social gathering where a rather conservative older family friend said that and I was sick to my stomach.

Turns out every guy that is in the media that I have been attracted to is gay. I also am heavily into showtunes and etc. I took my own mother to the premier of Die Mommy Die, and yet I am a straight girl.
