I mean, that's good! I just don't like the guy. If I have to keep watching scenes with him being a pretentious douche, I'll probably vent about it a little on here though ;]

Dorian likes to pretend that he cares so much for the ones he is interested in (throwing an elegant ball for Angelique), but what it boils down to is that he only cares for his own interests.

I am completely in the same boat as you with Dorian. I don't mind sex scenes, but Dorian and Angelique I just don't like as characters.

I agree it's going to come into play somewhere, but there's just nothing about the two characters that I can find an interest in. Their story focuses on sex and attraction first and foremost, and I just wish there was more to it.

I get what they were going for by showing the sex scenes back to back and then coupling it with a small, non-sexual (although the most sexual encounter these two have had so far) Ethan and Vanessa moment.

This episode ranked up there with Séance for me. Eva Green and Patti Lupone killed it! Skinned it… and then cooked it (poor rabbit).
This portrayal of witchcraft is something that has been lacking in film lately. See AHS: Coven, Salem, even True Blood. These witches in Penny Dreadful get down to the nitty gritty basics

The thing I really love about this season though is that the top few queens all really seem to care about each other. Yes it is still a competition, but they seem to just be trying their hardest and having fun with one another as they go. *cut to Violet jumping up and down after Katya's cartwheel into splits*.

I so want Helen to be a recurring character.
I just imagine Teddy winning the lottery or something (and yet still works as a handyman because that's his calling in life) and Helen marries him and keeps trying to kill him. Every time Helen tries, Teddy finds some strange way to not die.
