i think the difference is that most of the other candidates you might name were TRYING, on some level, to be weird or "subversive", where shudder to think always just felt..weird. and the others were, generally, a sort of ugly, hairy weird, whereas s2t had a more femnine energy and a more refined way of kicking asses…
