Yeah, flying isn’t bad (I personally don’t love it). What’s actually bad is how we’ve let the system become. Parking/being dropped off, the TSA, shoving through lines, crammed into smaller seats, deplaning, we’re doing it ourselves and don’t care.

if you’re on a 12 hour flight, 3 additional minutes of sitting won’t kill you
Longest used to be 14.5 hours. I’d make sure that I’d have enough breaks to stand up and walk around during that time that I *didn’t* have to immediately stand up and stretch my legs the minute the plane landed. If you’re seated for 12+ hours straight, you’re literally asking for a blood clot.
Only 2-3 rows? Pffft... I think that takes you off the jerk hook.
So, if I understand, you were in row 21 (say), your bag was by row 23 (say), you stepped back to row 23, grabbed your bag, then, on passing row 21, grabbed your under the seat bag? I think that is fine. Unless it took you forever to get your under the seat bag. It sounds like you did not hold up the line and, in fact,…
Also, if you are sitting aisle, you get a standing stranger’s butt or junk mere inches away from your face for the longest 5-10 minutes.
There is absolutely no reason to stand up immediately upon the seat belt sign turning off- you’re still 5-10 minutes from the door opening and any deplane-ing to begin. By just waiting a few more minutes, it allows the poor souls who had to internalize their game plan to simply go up the aisle, grab what they need,…
Hey, Tim, important question -- how many rows behind you was the overhead compartment with your bag? I think that the determination of your potential jerkitude hinges upon the answer.
Tim is an unfeeling sociopath, but that’s ok, because that’s what air travel turns most people into.
allegedly after a student complained that they were targeted by the note.
You’d think it would be obvious that, if anyone “felt bullied” by warnings of a rapist, it would be because he’s the fucking rapist.
“It makes me angry that I’m being punished for bullying and a rapist isn’t being punished for raping people,”
I think it’s more that parents aren’t trying to guide out “undesirable behaviors” from their daughters anymore. My dad thinks it’s great that the main lesson I got out of getting a black belt in tae kwon do is that I’ll throw a palm strike a break someone’s nose without thinking. My dad was an accidental OG boomer femi…
There were no names on those notes. And yet...some male “felt bullied.” And the school suspended her.
And they'll also want to know "why she waited so long" to report it.
“It makes me angry that I’m being punished for bullying and a rapist isn’t being punished for raping people”
Am I just at an age where I now appreciate teenagers or are 15 year olds just absolutely nailing everything on the head right now?
To paraphrase another Jezebel article on the subject, oh but they are good boys
This would have been good without the grammar errors. It is great because of the grammar errors.
Might need to notify The Police
I cannot WAIT to see the Dead Letters for this one.
