    I remember hearing, so often and endlessly, that Hillary Clinton was physically ugly. It still hits me with a slight shock to see an old photo of her, and realize her appearance was lied about as often as her actions.

    Seconded. There’s a reason gay kids are enormously overrepresented among homeless youth in the US, and that there are foster parents who specifically foster LGBTQ teens.

    The fact that the law exists is bad enough, but I can’t wrap my head around the idea of a mother wanting her teenage daughter to be arrested and face jail time for this.
