Which, when you think about it, is profoundly disturbing. I mean, do they consider themselves totally immune to sexual violence? Or do they consider sexual violence against women/perpetrated by men to be such a non-issue that they could see themselves doing it?

Very rarely do I meet other women who grew up knowing that “No” was acceptable, particularly when speaking to authority figures.
