The reason I close the vents in my house is to get the cold air upstairs in the bedrooms. There is at least a 10 degree difference between the main floor and upstairs. How else am I supposed to cool the upstairs if I cannot close a bunch of vents? It is a frustrating situation, especially when trying to sleep.

Yes, I know the feeling because my parents are on the same boat. They are stuck with Comcast. I have tried calling them to negotiate a new rate and after spending over an hour on the phone I get frustrated and hang up.

I don’t even bother wasting hours of my time trying to negotiate a new rate. I simply just sign up with another provider every year and get rewarded with their best prices and rewards such as gift cards. I have zero loyalty to any of the cable companies.
