@Spatchmo: that said, a lot of great programming comes out of the BBC. I don't think I can count the number of American spinoffs that were created over here, granted most were game shows or reality, so you have to take the good with the bad...

for two bucks the captain's log should show you the star date, unless it is assuming that if you're downloading it you already know how to convert real date/time into that...

@maythetechbewithyou: I'd agree that these are non-existant in a "modern set" that is purchased from sears or any big box store. Which is where most people assume you go for woodworking tools. They also assume that power tools are the only modern woodworking tools...

What this and the standard trackpad on the 'books need are enhanced gesture functionality of jitouch. I seriously can't understand why they haven't incorporated something similar or just bought the program.
