The ‘90’ is significant because the production code names for the supra generations thus far have been A40, A60, A70, and A80. So, a mk V supra would almost certainly have the code A90.
I would argue some of my best Netflix finds like my best video store finds came from just browsing the different titles and categories.
because i follow entertainment news about movie festivals and movies that get a lot of buzz for being interesting and out there. then, if the reviews are intriguing enough i mark it down to see where it ends up for distribution or i’ll see someone in movie threads recommend a somewhat obscure film and do the same.
the…
bad for movies because it pays decent money to interesting, independent films that would historically have appeared at a few distant film festivals, during the middle of the week before having a brief 2 week run in LA and NY and then disappearing completely and then i would never get to see them?
bad because their…
Yes. Netflix has a smaller catalog now than in 2010 because there is more competition now. It is only going to get worse as every content owner/creator out there starts their own streaming service. They clearly saw this coming years ago and that’s why they are investing heavily in making their own content. There is no…
It is entirely due to market pressures. They were basically so successful that everyone wanted a piece of the market, and the way you carve out a piece of the market is you deny your rivals content so that people spend their limited entertainment budget on your streaming service and not your competitor’s. Netflix was…
Like...you guys do understand that other studios are withholding their back catalog deliberately from Netflix, either because other streaming services are paying more for exclusive rights or because they have plans to cut out the middleman and start their own streaming services, right? I mean, you keep using the words…
In fairness, people who actually buy them likely don’t give a toss that you can’t tell them apart but instead are quite happy that the beautiful lines of the flagship V90 are very much preserved in the more economical model.
At least they actually look good, unlike pretty much everything from Audi or BMW these days...
Signs that do not give cardinal directions piss me off to no end. I could really care less what city is in that direction, all I need to know is am I going to be traveling North or South once I get on the highway via this exit.
What? that’s how most highways still are numbered today. An exit may lead to multiple other roads, which are all listed on the sign. That’s why they put the city on there - people navigated by city and not by highway number.
write to Volvo and ask them to give you the cars for free in exchange for publicity.
Its weird, since I live in Southern CA its completely normal for me to say “the 405" yet when my wife went to Tennessee recently we found out no one else does it. Its like wearing a big “I’m from CA” sign on your back at all times. People even look at you funny for doing so.
god damn it. my head says STAY PURE JUST GET THE WAGON. my heart says FUCK YAH PLASTIC SHIT AND 2 MORE INCHES.
Can’t agree. Every time I get in a car with no glass on the roof, I feel like I’m entering a tomb.
So, another two models from the same company I can’t tell apart. Thanks Audi, I mean Volvo.
...why not?
“This beer tastes more like beer than THIS beer!”
They’re both great, just enjoy them.
You can’t just claim that without a source
