I need to know what this is. My knowledge of pre-war cars is nill.

Damn! Was trying to post this same car as soon as the QOTD went up but kept getting Kinja’d! (I tried posting like 4 times, I hope it didn’t get spammed). Well played.

Messerschmitt KR200. More a motorcycle/plane than a car, especially with the seating position.

You should try the Juke Nismo RS, with the 6spd and LSD. A good daily, though AWD is CVT only. The FWD 6spd has 215hp from an easy to get power of turbo four, and is very reliable and ok-ish (28mpg) on fuel. A good new and fun daily from Nissan if you ask me! I love my 6spd (not a Nismo though)

I read the title as “Time Machine Kills Ferrari”

I’d honestly be more atracted to it were it an old fashioned slushbox. This isn’t a corner carver for the track or canyons. I just want to daily it and cruise in it relaxedly. I already daily a stick with a bad knee, a mistake I won’t be doing again. NP with automatic and money no object, though I must do CP now. It

The Juke is a really cool car. It is different, definitely doesn’t blend in the beige, easy to get more power out of, the 6 speed manual is amazing (FWD only unfortunately). The Nismo RS even comes with a really good LSD, and if you choose the FWD 6spd, it is under 3000lbs. A really fun car, love mine. Chose it over a

The Juke beats all, because quirky manual turbo mini-crossover under 3000lbs. Too bad AWD is CVT-only!

The E71 model was much better looking. The new one just has such a weird rear end. I really liked the old one, especially in M form. I usually see a black one on my daily commute and alway gawk at it.

It’s just whited out. Rather surprised at the Chilean Roadmaster photo, as they are really rare cars. I’ve seen 3 in 20 years!

That’s actually either a Suzuki Maruti or a Suzuki Alto 800.

Is it wrong that I like it more than the actual Enzo?

Chile has a test that is almost exactly the same as the British MOT. It tests emissions, exhaust, light positioning and intensity, tire thread, etc. and you can’t insure your car without it. This coming from a “Third World Country” as you’d say ;). Although there is always a wat around it, ususally through a friend of

I once saw one on the highway, it was converted to LHD too (mandated for all RHD imports). I almost snapped my neck when it passed going the other way. Silver with the amazing red mudflaps.

I had no idea!

This thing is being unvelied here as we speak, as Lada returns to Chile. It costs around USD$10650.

I feel I’ve used this car in way too many QOTDs, but it really fits here. Chevrolet Celta. It is pretty much a rebodied Opel Corsa B, which was made from 1993-2000, which uses the same GM4200 platform, which has remained unchanged since 1982. This is sold in Brazil as a NEW car!

Lada Niva
THIS thing is being unveiled as a new model here in Chile as we speak, even though it is pretty much the same as the 1977 model
