I’m here the rest of the week for work. I’ve lived in different places with their own eccentricities (Chicago, NYC, LA) but San Francisco has scarred me the most

Yeah it’s a great city, but I have seen a lot of things here. The guy I was eating lunch with said he is a regular, so I can only guess what the people who work he regularly end up seeing
Yup. I love these days I get to work in San Francisco
No, not purely horrifying like that. It was sadly funny and really gross but ended on a note I can’t stop laughing about, having to do with a homeless man and outdoor urination and what ensued when he realized he was not alone. I’m not trying to be coy, I just didn’t want to just tell the story without prefacing it.
Democrats actually had over 20 in’08, which while I remember there being a lot, I didn’t remember it was THAT many
I make the same face when cake is presented to me. This is helping, but I done seen things today
Completely agree. Science fiction has such a rich history of outsider voices and messages and challenging stories, and I think IO9 honored that better than any site, both in content and comment section. Look at the reaction in the comment section as characters are having their gender and ethnicity changed; hell I’ve…
After having just witnessed something that I can never un-see while coming back from lunch, I really needed that happy image to try to scrub my brain. Need brain bleach, will settle for dog on trampoline. And if you are back there somewhere, just place your drink order when you see me walking to the bar, I don’t want…
The two were just so different in content that it never made sense. The whole vibe is just different both in terms of content (even though some is obviously the same) and especially comment section, which was such a big part of it. My geeky side needs a home
Thanks for that! Up until recently I had two dogs and a trampoline in the back yard, so I have spent many a Sunday morning on the patio with a bloody mary or mimosa (yay brunch-drinking) watching that very image.
I want my (untainted) IO9 back!
And now stars seem inadequate going forward
Exactly. Like I just said elsewhere, there is a difference between disagreeing which policy best accomplishes their goal and telling them what their priorities are or should be.
I think there is a difference between people being told they are voting against their interests in a policy discussion because the argument is over which policy better serves them, and people being told they have the wrong priorities, which is often what I’ve seen in this case.
You say that like she just start working with the Black community a few months ago, they have a working relationship going back several decades. It’s not name recognition it’s personal experience working her. That counts for something.
THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME
Trump wouldn’t have this same confrontation, his would include him talking over her, telling her she’s a loser, and then calling on his crowd to rough her up. That’s when his poll numbers would, as you said, go up
We need him to REALLY throw his weight behind Clinton. We need to stump hard at colleges and union halls and colleges...did I mention colleges?
Clinton actually won 59% of black voters younger than 30 yesterday, she has consistently won both the older and younger Black vote
Thank you, glad you liked it. If there are three things I know it’s politics and the Constitution, 1980's cartoons which I grew up watching, and that Ted Cruz is Canadian
