I can’t imagine it for myself so I truly feel for the decaf drinkers; my mom recently became unable to have caffeine but still LOVES a good cup of coffee (like many of us, a junkie since college days). It’s just such a part of so many our routines. What I don’t understand is she often orders iced decaf and she get

Revelations actually, it’s one of the signs of the apocalypse

Half the assholery, but three times the self-righteousness!

Wonder where she got that idea

I believe that history shows that democracy has to develop organically, at the particular country’s own pace. It can be influenced but has to develop on its own, and it is often a painful process

As a smarter person than I once said, “democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others”

But grittier!

And us golf parents just sit in the clubhouse with a drink

Which explains the soon-to-be-booming love-bot industry

“You can leave after hanging your weapon in the corner”

TWO ENTER, NONE LEAVE!

Oh come on, when has the honor system NOT worked when combined with anonymity?

Actually I think it sends the opposite message since it was never released without her permission. If she hadn’t consented it would be a disincentive, but everything was handled properly. I think the only disturbing message that comes from this is that her story has been out this whole time and not only did it not

I’m guessing because people do not really respond to transcripts, but they do to video. Ask Ray Rice how much more attention comes when there is video.

Excellent article and makes really a good point and it says a lot that this could happen at her house and the story is mainly written as being something between two men, like her experience doesn’t matter. On the other hand I had to laugh, because of the way I heard about this.

And just like that, “Too Many Cooks” is stuck in my head again. Thanks a lot

Now I want to see this badly. The dealer and the chimp walk-and-talking through their garden, the dealer discussing international factors that effect their prices and tying that into the recent revelation that his father had been having a decades-long affair. I assume the chimp will be played by Joshua Malina

I thought the women of Sports Night were great, just like most of the women on West Wing. I think part of the knock on them is that they had moments where they were neurotic or over the top, but so did the guys. That’s just how Sorkin writes his characters

You mean a charming/smug smile paired with a clever line doesn’t cure all?

The Brutus line is great, like the whole thing. Her tone and delivery, so calm, collected, and measured, is just perfect
