I think there’s some fallacy with that comparison. Cadillac isn’t being cross-shopped with Porsche and Bentley. Both of those brands platform share within VW. Shoot, even Rolls Royce shares platforms with BMW, it would be foolish not to. That’s really where your argument has strength, they don’t differentiate.

Again, no disagreement there. Some folks that are way better at interpreting a balance sheet than me have decided they’re going to continue competing in those segments, so I’m not sure they’re wasting billions,.

I get where you’re coming from, but Jalops fawning over what would ultimately be a sales failure, doesn’t help. Maybe when they were the ‘World Standard’ they could’ve done a low production, high margin land yacht like those, but those days are long gone.

Supposedly they’re switching back to names once they start pumping out electric cars. I hope so, because the alphanumeric soup is tired.

I’m going to finish reading this, but my first reaction after reading your headline?

Welp, off to IT to get a new keyboard.

Fancy Kristen, you’re back! I take it you’re writing this after a weekend at this cottage and you’ve grown tired of it as a vacation getaway? You’re probably looking for an upgrade, I’m sure, since this one doesn’t have a dock for mooring your many yachts.

Pretty much this.

Anyone find it ironic the tech company doesn’t want to use tech (LiDAR) because it will (eventually) become obsolete or say that the companies that do are ‘doomed’ while they themselves could’ve already killed people by not using it?

Am I the only one that felt really uneasy with him calling his daughters “very attractive”?

I know exactly how safe my ‘74 Spitfire isn’t, and driving it is still bliss.

You keep bringing that sunshine into the world and don’t let anyone stop you.

Ignorance is bliss

Not ‘enough’ range and not an SUV/CUV, unfortunately. I’d love to have one of these.

No joke, still kinda want one as a daily:

Brad, I think you owe me a new keyboard with that headline. Keep ‘em coming.

To me, that looks more like the angle and ambient sunlight (or lack thereof) making it look dark than tinted headlamps. Michigan this time of year is lucky to get sunlight.
