During the Ghomeshi scandal in Canada (our most beloved radio personality was a version of Weinstein) one of Dunsworth’s TPB castmates, Lucy DeCoutere, shared her story of being abused by Ghomeshi. Dunsworth posted the article on Facebook with the captain ‘It takes courage to enter the shitstorm.’ It was perfect.

Like shit and strawberry shortcake, Randy.

I love that most of the jokes on his sexuality were more “but why Randy?” or “but why are you dressed like a chicken?”

He absolutely was the heart of the show. It took me a while to realize it, but he had this entire pathos that just made that show.

Time for a little drinkie-poo to ease the sadness.

Time to pour out a little drinky-poo. For the liquor himself.

Season 2 though, but yeah.

Mr. Lahey was one of the first bisexual male characters where his sexuality wasn’t treated like a big deal. Not going to lie there were a few jokes but it never felt mean spirited or cruel. Also a fun little fact for you shitbirds: a young Ellen Page plays Mr. Lahey’s daughter in the first season of Trailer Park

My favourite scene of Mr Lahey’s is i think it’s a season from a few years back and he walks blindly backwards towards his car, not taking his mouth off a whiskey bottle, getting in the car and peeling out, never stopping for air while finishing it off.

We are in the eye of a shiticane.

I’m going to need to let the liquor do the thinking.

This shitbird’s gone home to roost.

I feel a fucking shitquake coming Randy.

Okay, this one hurts. This year’s turning in to a real shit tornado. A shitnado.

I don’t think anyone has played a better drunk. He was also the heart of the show, in a way, despite being a villain.

the nut on the bus goes pound pound pound

“I guess he’s thinking the bus driver might think it’s somehow a smart move to have the screaming, belligerent man clinging to the front of the bus gremlin-like actually inside the bus full of middle school kids.”

Dolphins are known for their blowholes...

I knew someone who was killed by an abusive partner. I knew some of what was happening at home and will never forgive myself for not making it into a bigger deal than I did. There’s a baby involved-I’d tell her in a heartbeat.

Honestly I’d contact CPS and inform them about the ex’s history with you and the other women. It’s awful that the mother can’t get her baby back but as long as she’s with that guy it’s for the best IMO. Tell her too so she can make the decision to leave him to get her baby back, but no fucking way do not put that baby
