I just heard this album for the first today and I was so taken with it I had to hear it again (pretty much right away). This review seems more in line with my perception of it (and how it made me feel) than the Popmatters review I read the other day.

So excellent. Hannibal is one funny dude.

I love Bats. I feel like she does a pretty good job of picking out covers (Cure, Big Star, Radiohead etc…) and putting her stamp on them.

So tacky. No wonder his former bandmates want nothing to do with him.

Whenever I need to concentrate, I'll put on Music for Airports or Disintegration Loops. Something ambient like that. Otherwise, I upload a lot of new music I'd like to check out to Google Play. I don't really like Spotify, Pandora and the like.
