funny enough I'm in a somewhat similar situation. A vita with a meaty memory card and case and a few games adds up to about the cost of an ipad...

And the speed battery tech is involving is pretty stagnant these days =/

But that is a weakness as well. I doubt we can expect stuff like infinity blade running at native res, unless A6 chipset is really powerful.
