Indeed. But console games are also prone to 'issues' (especially these days) post launch. And those patches usually take longer to come out (or not come out at all). Dicking around with drivers and ini settings hasn't really been much of an issue or hassle.

well ffX was pretty linear for most of the game (if you didn't care about blitzball). You couldn't really go off the path until about the end.

Obisidian quality does seem pretty universal. They really need to get their management ability up though. They always seem to be rushed somewhat due to publisher, poor management or something.

Being the poster boy ios game of the season, I expect the update being pushed quickly.
