It is baffling that whenever white people like Megyn Kelly engage with race they always choose the lowest gutter viewpoint possible. Why can’t they say the n-word? Why can’t they dress in blackface?

Nothing is ever racist to these people. White people literally marched giving Nazi salutes while brandishing weapons and tiki torches and they still talked about “both sides”.

I feel like we’re maybe a year away from conservative pundits arguing that slavery was a net positive to the US and we would benefit from repealing the 13th Amendment. Also, that whole Holocaust thing was totally overblown. 

I’m busy.  Sometimes I have more important things to do, like commenting on kinja about how I don’t have time to remove the sticker on my apple.  

The Clintons really fucked the party so I was angry that after Obama, who was practically lightning in a bottle, the Democratic Party still wanted us to hang our hopes on another one. Granted Hillary is the more capable one and her biggest scandals were things that weren’t actually her fault but it’s not a good sign…

Here in California, you still get a sticker if you vote by mail. I’ve been wearing mine for the past few days and it’s prompted several people to walk up to me and ask, “is it election day?” That lets me launch into my spiel and urge them to register now and vote on the 6th.

This is what pisses me off about the psudoscience peddlers. Someone who has experienced a horrible tragedy--the loss of an 18 month old--naturally is looking for something concrete to blame. Then these hucksters peddle their BS story to a vulnerable person who then latches onto it.
