All That was my SHIT. And Are You Afraid of the Dark?, of course.

So old.

Watched this interview this morning, two things -

My cousin got married on the “cheap” last year. They had it in the backyard because her dad has property big enough for it and they wanted open bar. I make the bride’s cakes, and did the centerpieces for the tables. It still was a couple thousand even though my mom got a friend to cater the event and get servers for

His demeanor during the hearing has enraged people even more. But either way, he’s accused by multiple women of sexual assault and sexual misconduct. There is lots of evidence that at the very least, he drank a lot in high school and college and was belligerent and viewed women as sex objects. But even if all that was

Vote.

At some point I think we have to admit we have lost the nation to the worst people, and that merely saying “Hey, that’s not fair,” just isn’t going to cut it. Not that I have a viable solution”

Except in a significant way it is not his past indiscretions that are hindering him, it is his present responses to them.

My question to my husband last night was, “If Kavanaugh could see into the future, do you think he would have not allowed himself to be nominated?” And he responded “No way, I know guys like him and they can’t imagine a world where past indiscretions would hinder future opportunities.” Made me realize how true that

He knows he will get confirmed if he doesn’t withdraw. He doesn’t care what this does to his family, his friends, his victims or the country. His ambition is not bound by the tiniest bit of decency.

Anyone with a smidgen less entitlement would have withdrawn their name by now. This guys a fucking sociopath. A raging drunk sociopath.

He’s moving over to the theatre department to teach acting classes in privileged white male histrionics and crying on cue.

Ocasio Cortez is on the list though...

Actually, as far as I can tell, Beto’s pretty close to Obama - in that he’s a business-friendly fiscal moderate and a social progressive.

I wanted to scoff at this as hyperbolic, but I suppose the extent to which the US feels like prison has entirely to do with where one is on the privilege spectrum. For a trans woman and ex-con like Manning, it probably does feel a lot more like a prison than it does for someone like me.

she spent 7 years in prison you absolute genius

I wonder if the lack of endorsement for Beto is based on a fear that in Texas it could be used to stir up the Republican base. Part of the “kicking Cruz out” plan is probably going to rely on Texas right-wingers being too complacent to make it to the polls.

We did not deserve him and we still don’t. He remains the standard to who should occupy the White House and hold the position of President in this country.

I’m thinking of Austin, TX where i currently reside. To your point, this would accelerate the already heavily gentrified area of east Austin.

It’s a better idea that Alexandria Cortez’s ‘projects for all’ platform, but this:
