Slideshow bait

I see you care so little about it, you wrote this whole article about how much you don’t care about the racing surface.

Beyond that, though, it seems like this year is going to be a bit of a snoozer in terms of Tesla if all it has coming is the Semi and the Cybertruck.

Why don’t you get rid of the “Neutral” portion of the morning shift if it’s going to be the same question for an entire year?

I’m not saying unions are great at everything, but if there is one thing that they are great at it’s maintaining the safety of their workers. I’ve seen UAW plants, and the rules can make things slow, and annoying, even ludicrous at times. But safety is paramount to them and in that regard, I consider it probably the

Seems like a pretty obvious way to set itself ahead of Android phones... I mean currently they’re pretty similar, with some android phones filling niche roles, but it’s really a toss up of what OS you prefer at this point. With Apple’s vertical integration, they’ve been able to have much more efficient batteries which

I’ve had the opportunity to see one of the cars owned by Chrysler. It’s pretty wild to hear what appears to be aircraft sounds coming from a 60's Chrysler.

Given most drifting is done at low speeds, it seems pretty obvious the front tires don’t need much lateral grip.... If you’re drifting at very high speeds, front grip is not optional, but it’s all about the lateral capacity of the tire. But a donut should be able to handle the 30mph turns this guy is taking.

What else could use some freshening up?

I hear your sentiments, but the checks are much further reaching than the jobs that would be generated in that it would reach many more people. At this point, it’s just trying to keep everyone’s head above water for long enough for the economy to begin recovering. It’s unfortunate, but it’s the mechanism we’ve got

Honestly, I think the biggest issue with battery swaps is just going to be consumer’s perspective of who owns the battery. Are they paying for the battery when they purchase the car? Are they leasing the battery? If the price is included in the purchase, why must they share it with the community? Those types of

I don’t think they’re slimy, they’re just talking about future products that they are working on, however that’s hard to translate to consumers when they can’t even see those products in the dealerships until 2-3 years later, so if comes off as “Look at all the stuff we’re doing!” and the public says “I see nothing

2nd Gear: Totally agreed. Some manufacturers don’t want to pursue them due to the complexity of getting two form of power generation to work together, especially when, as you said, it’s a “stop gap” technology. So when they do get things sorted out, the public may have just moved on to BEV’s at that point. Some

That’s what people really want: “the best combination of range, ease of refilling, cost, daily convenience, and vehicle choice”
I doubt the majority of consumers care what powers the wheels as long as the vehicle offers the best combination of those things.

Here’s an idea. Start taking data to see what is the speed people are actually driving on certain roads, cross reference accident records, and adjust accordingly. Are people driving 75 in a 55? Raise it.

FCA: Functioning as intended.

While this isn’t unique to FCA (now Stellantis), the base model is NOT the vehicle you want to buy coming out of the Chrysler group. They cheap out on quite a lot to get that starting price super low, but if you tack on a few thousand dollars, you’ll have a finely appointed cabin and very comfortable vehicle. It’s

While I consider getting into the vehicle market as a fool’s errand, I can see Huawei giving it a go, especially with how rapidly they’ve grown and developed technologies with the protective help of China’s economic policies. I’d place my bets on them trying to make a car more so than Apple or Sony. But even if they

How hard could it be? With Jeep’s military and offroading past, this has to be one of the easiest brands to potentially brand. There are so many low hanging fruit here between military references or well known offroading trails.

I’m not a Tesla stan who follows the haters on the inner working of Tesla, but I’m at to believe this as no one keeps production running at full steam until they hit the limit of what they can sell. Production ebs and flows with demand. A sudden drop off is most likely due to the chip shortage, or some other supply
