4th Gear: This isn’t really the type of thing you ask over twitter....

3rd: I can only speculate... but I’m just going to take a guess and say it’s because GM’s EV and AV focus is so narrow, whereas Tesla wants to move into every market it can. Consumer cars, Semis, Solar, battery packs, auto insurance, etc. They just keep attacking new projects. GM on the other hand just wants to make

Never say never. If you have an F350 and you loaded it up to be a total weight of 14000lb, and SOMEHOW managed to load it up in a way to achieve a 10%/90% front/rear weight distribution. Then yes, yes you can put motorcycle tires on the front of your F350.

Ha! You know it’s not as terrible of an idea as it initially sounds for those who “stance” their cars. Really, really looks dumb and makes your vehicle perform terribly. But I suspect motorcycle tires would legitimately improve the day to day performance of their vehicles.

Depends on the weight of the car ;)

You know I’m actually fairly interested in this. They will be objectively worse in most conditions. But I wonder how having such a narrow contact patch would affect performance in the snow.

TLDR:
Car Tires: Flat

I agree, on the last generation of vehicles, they were really owning those headlights. I could look at the oncoming lane a mile out on the freeway and know it was a Cadillac coming from those headlights. These days they seem to be cheaping out on that branding and relegating those lights to, what I can only describe

Well, they’re one SUV away from an easy 20K

You are absolutely correct. It’s all dependent on growth rates. And honestly I haven’t seen a plan to sustain those growth rates. Launching the Model 3 and their new China Plant, in my mind, is probably going to be peak growth rate. The Model Y, yes, it will increase volume quite a bit, but not at the level the Model

Neutral:Let’s be real, people are speculating on stock price rather than potential performance as a company at this point.

Breaking: Drama Queen creates drama by making drama about too much drama.

Or as it’s put in the article “sorta-racist”.

Yeah, I feel like the trade negotiations are going to be stepping into murky waters. Actions veiled under the pretense of public safety. Whether that’s restricted travel or noncompliance.

I think the real issue at hand is Aston growing their customer base and reducing cost. Their SUV is going help immensely. However, I’m not so sure sticking to the same old formula is going to result in that. Really they need to look at what their current customers like, and whether or not making a Ferrari competitor

How is no one talking about that Escalade limo? That thing wouldn’t even be able to fit on the football field.

I mean it’s really as simple as focusing on Crossovers rather than sedans, and executing those products very well.

I honestly can’t speak to the chemistry involved or the performance of one vs the other in terms of energy density, but mostly likely it comes down to packaging everything. It’s a lot easier and space efficient to use a block vs a cylinder. Think of all the wasted space between each cylinder.

2nd Gear: I’m particularly curious how the Coronavirus is going to affect trade negotiations. We’ll see if China begins to bend the knee as they continue to feel increased economic pressures.

I did a bit more reading. This V6 does appear to be related to the V12 (which is good, a brand new powertrain from scratch can take up to 5 years to develop). And it should debut in 2021, allegedly. But there is still the question mark of developing the hybrid system, which you could argue the development time/cost of
