I think people realized that the prequels were amazing...compared to the awful sequels. Like we thought we knew what bad was, but we didn’t. The sequels, especially the last jedi, showed us how much worse things could get.

So the failure of this series is really the fault of the hobbit trilogy?  Reminds me of prince Harry blaming his brother for the fact he dressed up as a nazi.

I remember like a month ago people here gloating that the number of players for hogwarts legacy had dropped dramatically.  I just hope those same folk aren't here trying to make excuses for rings of power now.
