I also never really understood the controversy surrounding the first movie.  It wasn’t bad, but some people acted like it should have never been made.

I just dislike roguelikes. Always bummed when I see a game that looks cool that turns out to be one.

The mistake they make is thinking their echo chamber represents reality. They think if they post on here “JK Rowling is a transphobe” and it gets 50 likes that it means something.

We’re also hearing about how, on the set of The Mindy Project, Mindy Kaling kissed a co-star without permission. It wasn’t in the script, she did it without telling him. Then jokingly said he would be fired if he told anyone.

Well it’s not as silly as Wimbledon banning Russian players.

This way if the movie fails they can blame racism. But if it succeeds they can pretend it was due to being such a diverse project.

Tom Cruise deposits the souls of his enemies into volcanoes.

He could be right, but Cruise’s ego is already huge I don’t think he needed the boost.

Not saying this will be bad, but I did say “how can this not be good?” about the movie Black Adam.  We know how that ended...

Apparently there is a Fallout show coming out too.

Interesting, any comparison to Mad Men will have me checking it out.  I really fucking loved that series.  Just waiting for someone to ruin it with a reboot.

I can’t say I necessarily approve of the nepo baby stuff, but then again some of the best actors have been nepo babies.

Did you ever see the series on netflix called “Five Came Back”? It explores the experience of 5 directors and their work on the front lines during WW2. One of which is John Huston.  Great series.  These guys really did risk their lives and careers, they didn’t have to do what they did.

I am aware it is not new, but each side seems to discuss it like they couldnt imagine a world where they themselves are also hypocrites.

See I don’t know if it is right to call it “superhero fatigue”. It’s just this last year or so we’ve seen some meh content. She-Hulk was awful, Ms. Marvel was meh.
