I never even owned a Dreamcast, but I do remember being fascinated with a friend’s VMU and his fussing over it like it was a Tamagotchi, which I am ALWAYS down for. A multifunctional memory card is just brilliant even now, with our jaded SSD-laden rigs and SD card whatsits.
