Or add SD card slot.

And in the meanwhile, Torchlight 2 is still "Summer 2012". ;_;

The source says that this sheet is supposed to replace thermal grease so.. uhh.. I'd assume yes.

Not necessarily. While software hacking and modding will be allowed it doesn't mean Ouya's developers need to fully support it (as in you can do whatever you want with it but don't necessarily expect any help from us).

Not everyone felt the need for a smart phone a few years ago. There, fixed.

I can at least think of one game: Final Fantasy 3 that was recently released for Android and as far as I'm aware, I can't play the newest version on PC, Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii. That may be just one game and there might be more games already out there but if Ouya is successful, I'm sure it won't be the only game.

It probably means software modding. Either way I see your point to be irrelevant because if you don't want to have problems then just don't mod it.

I copypasted one of the links on the post and it claimed I had a virus. I don't think I do but just to be safe I'm now running F-Secure's online scanner. Anyways, it should show you a box you can click to confirm that you have used an anti-virus program.

I don't know if Steam DRM is more difficult to hack compared to other DRM but obviously not difficult enough because I've seen plenty of Steam games hacked and shared.

Where does it say that the device is specifically designed for that (emulation) purpose?

Err... nope? I assume I could just download .apk package and install whatever software I want on Oyua (I assume this will be the case if they advertise it being open platform). Emulators don't have to be supported officially.

Err.. I think PC devs use Steam because how popular it is amongst PC gamers. I don't see how Steam provides any extra layer of security (if that's what you mean by protection).

1. My android phone and tablet can't stream audio/video to a TV.

Or media blew it out of proportion.

I was going to reply to the post and ask if the author of this article has a problem with the scientific method but I thought I might be dismissed as a troll. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a problem with this aspect of the article.

Not really. If we look at some other HD remakes, at least Halo 1 got proper remake with new textures on par with Halo 3, ODST and Reach. Also the remade soundtrack too. Unlike some other remakes that just have upped resolution and higher framerate.

Something is certainly wrong with your system. I don't remember Thunderbird to crash Windows or anything else except itself but only on very seldom occasion. And I've had TB on several computers.

Unless they switch to x86-64 bit architecture, which isn't too far fetched as PS4 is rumored to have AMD's CPU (or ARM but that's less likely), Windows 8 won't be integrated on the next Xbox.

I don't know if there's any point anymore. Unless of course they start to release PS2 games in PSN store big time. How many games can you buy new these days? Sony definitely doesn't care about second-hand market.

If they're shameless enough to make a lazy PC port after how many years, I would say not really.
