@Captain_Tripps: In my mind as a kid there existed a Golden Child / Big Trouble spinoff with raping dragons and lots of ass-kicking.

@ceti: So did the man with no name. And what Evdor said.
@DrZaius: That scene was there to show Emil is as heartless as they come (less human than even Robocop...?), but in the best versions of that moment (e.g., Beverly Hills Cop), the early murder tells how bad the bad guy will get, but it also sets in motion some things that are important to the overall story.
@dkl415: Scruffy thirds that.
@Clutchman83: The opening credits to Jaws 3 (in 3D), displaying a torn fish head, floating above your lap (if you're wearing glasses), was kind of cool.
@shaggyze: I've seen the original a dozen times; I'm not talking about a network in a computer company, I'm talking about the thing you're using to miss my point.
@presto117: Thanks, Captain Semantics! You have again defeated relevancy on the io9 comments board!
@orangewaxlion: Exactly; cel phones, texting, etc. I'd love to see the world of the computers TODAY, but from the inside...
@jdmcd: What sucks (from the sound of it, haven't seen it yet) is that this is a film that really could arguably be greatly improved, enhanced, etc. by remaking it; Tron was a so-so story but capture our imaginations about computers at an early stage of human/computer interaction.
I can't believe they remade Tron in this era and didn't make use of the Internet.
@mittelwerk1: That already happened. (in the 80s)
@deeemer: No worries; I apologize too. And believe me, I understand how context influences which side I try to present on Israel, religion, etc. I also know what you mean about 'elders of zion' and tried to talk to a lot of friends when I lived in Williamsburg when they had bad experiences with the Satmars (a lot of…
f— you WSJ!
@ceptri: I was going to use you to admit that I kind of liked the first Dune movie.
@deeemer: You are a brave and great person for meeting me here and writing this comment; I greatly appreciate it. The truth is, I usually shrug off bad interactions on Gawker, but my sense that I was being misunderstood/dismissed by someone whom I could learn from really nagged at me! I have had good and bad…
@Athena Andreadis: Nice one; keep it up!
Does this throw a wrench in our plans to make a genetic chimera of half-human half-monkey laborers?
@enteecee: Saw it, but wasn't nuts about it.
@deeemer: When I said religious fundies I meant all religious fundamentalists, not just Jews. I see it's an insulting term; I shouldn't have used it.
@Set the controls for the heart of the Sun: I will; thx!
