Creases instead of curves. The “art of origami” seems to have totally infiltrated automotive design, and I hate it. So many cars are Bangle’s methed out fever dreams.

For me it’s the flat side arch of the wheel wells of damn near every modern car. Why are there so many different cars from every manufacturer that have that design element? I really don’t get it.

To be sure, those of us of a certain age, I’m 62, were listening to this way back in the 70's. As you point out, to get these things to work meant you were always on boost, and when you weren’t the low compression ratios meant crappy throttle response and economy.
