Yes, abandoning the name of the single most successful airliner in history because of two crashes makes a lot of sense. And those plane purchasers surely only take a superficial look at what they are buying before they plop down $100M per plane, so they will be easily fooled by a name change.

So his genius plan is to add more features, meanwhile he said they were crashing because they were too complicated and had too many features. Sounds about right for one of his solutions.

Decades from now, people will remember exactly where they were and exactly what they were doing when the President tweeted this unheard of stroke of marketing genius.

I don’t get that personally, but I think a lot of that comes down to aesthetics.  I prefer to style of the 6 to the Accord.  Having driven the ‘18 versions of both, I think the 6 is a better handling vehicle and a bit more ‘pep’, but I wouldn’t say they’re night/day different in either department.  The infotainment…

No they won’t. The back seats in most compact cars are useless for anyone over 5'10". Mid sized sedans fit my needs perfectly, and I have no reason to go bigger than that, and even less reason to go smaller. 

I’ve got a ‘14 CX-5 and I genuinely can’t understand how Mazda can make driving so enjoyable and using the infotainment system so bloody awful. It’s a weird combo. Like making a dry aged steak and finishing it with Peeps.  Who the hell went, “Yeah... this works.  Ship it.”??

Mazda tends to leave out some sound deadening in favor of saving weight. I have a 2015 6, and my only complaint besides the absolute garbage infotainment system is the road noise. 

“Hey! Pretty car!” a random dude shouted to me as the jogged past. I was taking a dramatic picture of the 2019 Mazda 6 Signature on a rainy afternoon in Detroit and didn’t need his obvious observations.

Italy is its own basketcase on par with Greece. Rampant government corruption has been the norm for decades.  Is it any wonder the government can not even fill the potholes?
