I think the overwhelming majority of gamers who are thrown off by Ubisoft's bullshit DRM just wait for a sale instead of resorting to piracy. Hell, piracy for me is too damn inconvenient compared to buying on Steam. Whatever though, this just means there's one less game I have to worry about.

I agree, Generals was the last C&C game I loved. Red Alert 3 was bad and unbalanced IMO, and C&C3 was meh, I didn't even bother buying C&C4. If Bioware is making an RTS, I really hope it's a new C&C game, but I doubt it since it's a "new franchise". If it's anything like Generals then sign me up.
