I got it last night. It’s interesting how apple offers standalone apps for all of its’ half baked efforts but did not create a standalone ‘arcade’ app.

I don’t hate this at all. My wife is hooked on awful f2p games and I keep trying to find her actually beatable versions I can pay for. I’d gladly pay for a well-made, non money grubbing game with the same gameplay loop as the stuff she plays on her phone.

I want no-compromise ‘smaller’ phones. Not that this is even a small phone, per se, but why not give me all the dang cameras and RAM?

Depending on weight and dimensions this could be a nice pick up simply for watching movies and using as a second monitor via sidecar.  I need more real estate for my 12" macbook when I’m working remotely..

100% this is extremely offputting. It absolutely has ford design language (the window ‘notch) and the fact they’d lobby this secretly is extremely suspect.

Gamers are awful, and toxic.  I work in brand marketing and absolutely hate having to cross paths with publishers.  They are scared of their own audience, rightfully so, because of stupid shit like this.

Would love Jason S at Kotaku’s feedback on a similar list pertaining to game developers.  I know Kotaku has (rightfully) been on the unionization push for devs and wonder if this kind of outcry would help the effort?
