Passport problems methinks

If this results in concrete steps such as increased funding for NASA then yes, this is something to be excited for.  This really, really could be the catalyst for a massive new economy and jobs boost for America.

This 100%.  I hate uber as a company but if they built a model that could somehow accurately predict and respond to terrorist threats then one would assume they’d be in bigger markets than ridesharing.

What are you guys doing with your old 1080p tvs? I live in a tiny 1br condo.. we already have one tv downstairs and one upstairs. What do I do with my ‘old’ 65" tv?  Aside from keep it - I’m still not necessarily in to a 4k set yet.

I guess it’s kind of a larger question - are you guys going to start diving in to churning and points and all that? It’s a huge topic and it would be interesting to see a gizmodo-ized explainer on that stuff.

I’d just throw out that when in doubt err on the side of overspending. I just saw a post in a travel facebook group I follow where the guy thought the 95$ AF for a chase card counted against minimum spend for a promotion.... poor bastard spent like $2950 assuming he’d hit the $3000 threshold to get his free points,

It would be so weird to have an offhand comment you made about a novelty shower head turn into a cornerstone of said novelty shower head’s marketing campaign.

I rarely get chippy in comments but get the editor to take a peek again dude

Note I don’t think this comes with a Windows 10 license does it?

Can you share more on the translation aspect? That is supposed to be the killer app for these things. Disappointed you didn’t go in to more detail.

Isn’t the cheap TCL where the action is at?

I picked up an iPhone SE for $150 that works on any AT&T service or MNVO (I use straight talk). It runs iOS 11 absurdly well and will last me another two years until a refurb iPhone 8 is 300$ish.

It’s a want, not a need but yes I’d love a pair. Honestly my typical flight is closer to 5 hours so maybe I should wait another couple years to see what advances come in terms of battery life.

Worth it?

Do you have a review of the wireless earbud / airpod-style noise cancelling ones in the pipeline? The WF-1000X? Curious how they stand up to the wired bose QC20s (my current go-to) and IRL battery life. I do a ton of coast to coast trips and the 4 hour max battery life is scary.

Can you share any resources on using the little guy specifically? It can fit a whole chicken? I’m having trouble grasping sense of scale. My current slow cooker is too big and unwieldy for me and my fiancée in our small condo. Wanted to get something small that would reliably make something for dinner (plus lunch

Do you have any resources for recipes with this little guy? I have a big ass slow cooker and most recipes online are kind of built to scale up big time. I know there’s probably a lot of ‘rule of thumb’ things to help with a smaller pot, but I am a horrible cook. I want one of these so bad!!

I’ve been looking at this and it still doesn’t feel as seamless as it could. We’re just kind of going through trial periods of different services. Even running off of comcast’s tv.xfinity.com service which you get as part of your cable service the UI is better than say, Sling’s.

TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENS!

Correct. And if this mystery seller is actually going to IKEA each time someone buys a pillowcase they’re wasting a ton of time / effort just to flip a 9$ pillowcase for $27. My guess is the margins are slimmer than we’d assume.
