From what I understand you just need to root the device to get the PS3 controller working with it. Shouldn't be too difficult and I agree - at least a PS3 controller will work with a gaming PC and obviously playstations as well. That's probably the route I'll go as well - nvidia says their controller has like zero

Did you order yet? I'm really strongly debating. It looks so awesome but the cover + controller tacking on another 100$ is turning me off of the entire concept. I wish they'd have done a bundle deal.

curious about this too. If it's a good controller and supports the iOS SDK for controllers that's a really solid deal.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. What device did you use to sign up for the 200mb plan? Was it a phone? All I'd want is 200mb a month, realistically, and if I needed more I'd be happy to pay ala carte.

Guardian Heroes is my favorite beat em up of all time and they did a lane system. Good enough for me!

Not alleging they are. I'd be interested in a business case as to why it makes sense - I think it probably does work out well for the really lesser known guys, but an actual researched article with sources and data would be very cool to see!

That's true - I'm not saying it isn't a good deal for some devs. I just had no idea that they weren't compensated at all. I'd be really, really, really interested in reading more about this instead of another shitty anime review on kotaku... why did it get shelved?

Wait is that true? They just hope they get enough publicity to make up for a month, a launch month, of lost revenue? Does that wind up being a good deal for the devs in the long run? Seems really really iffy if MS isn't at least underwriting the cost to develop or something.

I just got a oneplus invite and ordered my phone yesterday. Is it still up there for cost vs. quality in everyone's opinion? I'm basically going to use it as a small tablet, to learn android in conjunction with my daily driver iphone 5s. Is there a way to get one of t mobile's cheap / free tablet data-only plans on

I just bought a oneplus one. Was that a bad idea?

Is this art? I think it is.

"The 6 Plus is rocking a 2915mAh battery, which is nearly double the 1560mAh cell in the iPhone 5S. However, compared to other 5.5-inch phones, it's a bit of a disappointment: the OnePlus One is packing a 3100mAh cell, and the Galaxy Note 3 (which, admittedly, is a bit better endowed in the size department) has

Is the thing re: creaking and lightness for the usb controller only, or the wireless as well? I've haven't been able to try out an xbone controller yet. The initial reviews seemed to be happy with it, aside from something with the triggers?

I cannot believe that Patricia engaged with this pedantic nonsense.

To be fair the rose gold, like the rose gold phone line, is catered towards the Asian market. Given the current American trend towards techy athletic wear, and pared back workwear stuff the other two models are really more geared towards us. But yeah, that watch is tremendously ugly on its own. Guessing it will

Valleywag wouldn't have been resuscitated under Biddle if Gawker Media didn't support it. I don't really agree with startup culture either, but it really seems like a lot of bile with no real reporting. That's kind of how gawker started, too, so maybe it will take off? Hoping so - I'd love to see a tech blog that

I don't feel it's malicious, but I certainly don't think apple goes way out of its' way to optimize for devices that are more than two generations old. To be honest it's not really unfair - cell phone contracts and upgrades tend to go in two year cycles, so supporting the newest and best device AND two prior

You clearly don't keep up with sam biddle's little valleywag offshoot.

It really is. Utility disruption? Would the city even allow that? Really, really interesting concept!

I know your sister site shits on tech companies but this really is an incredible idea. So cool that someone just brainstormed this and they're spending the $$$ to make it a reality. Did this come from somewhere else, or is it a new invention from Amazon?
