So 100 cars is a publicity stunt, not a real production run, yea?

@Tim Gee: But being passively connected to a network vs. constantly downloading music are two different things.

I think like most people, I'm not really seeing the point in streaming everything I own. The quality isn't there, it's subject to network outages and I would imagine it kills battery life vs. using a native (drm wrapped, who cares?) file.

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: I don't want to spoil you or anything, but try reddit. Gawker media already mines a huge amount of content from there anyway.. (properly cited, of course)

What are we talking cost-wise to download additional clips etc? I'd hope you asked..

Sleeping in a loft composed of ping pong balls and white acrylic shelving above your office's restroom?

Wow, glad that they can spare approx. 5% for charity, considering that these terrifically ugly hats cost 4$ to manufacture.

Why wouldn't the gentleman quoted want to sound like Tom Cruise? Tom Cruise is BAD. ASS.

@Mattizzle: I think the app format allows them more flexibility with animations, embedded content etc. All the html5 magic in the world won't replace having this stuff loaded and running natively.

Back when AIM was cool I had a 3 letter screen name.

@Desi_Relaford: It does the "Kids, life is like ______" morals nonsense that scrubs did. It's an awful show and ted is a douchebag. /had a roommate that identified with ted and it was really annoying

@Mars478: My thought as well. Hoping for a more-svelte ipad 2 with a thinner bezel and 'MAGICAL REVOLUTIONARY PALM SENSING SOFTWARE' or whatever so my thumb doesn't accidentally click things.

This leaves so many questions - what type of bag are we talking? It takes a LOT of staples and pens to = $1,000,000. Was he stealing servers, screw by screw?

@gulag: They'd have to be.. look at the middle.

@wittrura: Good point. I'd expect the benefits to be HUGE for enterprise. At my [sales] job, I do outlook, email and use a web based CRM system 99% of the time. Maybe adobe reader and MS paint if I'm sketching things for clients.

This is the first thing I've seen from CES coverage that blew me away. Congrats Moto this is a beautiful piece of hardware.

@RacecarBoobTat: That'd be more of an E3 announcement, yeah? I'm thinking the original trilogy remastered on blu ray..

Anyone else notice the google branding on the back? Doesn't that signify a google experience (i.e. no crappy manufacturer 'enhancements')?

I'm on zune's subscription model. I know a lot of people aren't fans, but I love the freedom to download whatever I want.
