Don't sell your perfect fruit in a town with the same kind of fruit! Sell them in a town that doesn't have them for 3000 bells each instead of 1000. Nets you huge cash-moneys.

Instead of hightailing it to a house when you get a bee's nest falling from a tree, you can use a net to grab the bees before you're stung - each bee grabbed this way sells for 2500 bells and there isn't any REAL penalty for getting stung other than looking a fool for a little while.
