I already chimed in with an assertion that electric blankets are great. But I also feel the need to champion the wonders of a hot water bottle!

I'm a satisfied electric blanket user. We put it between our sheet and duvet. Like @jvanderh suggested, one with individual controls for either side is especially great. I like to turn my side on a few minutes before crawling into bed.

I stick with Facebook to stay on top of what's going on with friends and events in the community but I really wish the damn thing would die like MySpace.
