Just another example of how woman of all types will always have easy access to sex.

Some people have friends. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t, but some people do.
We got an infestation from a relative and I regularly found them on my clothing in public. It almost made me stop working and completely retreat from society. I found them on the leg of my pants, inside my coats while hanging them up, crawling on my shirt sleeve. Just one at a time. I dreaded someone seeing one…
I figured they were all in pain because they all banged Jessica Simpson and napalm is dangerous.
I expect my withholding to increase because of the elimination of exemptions. My “doubled” standard deduction is effectively reducing the amount of my (fed income tax) tax free income. I haven’t seen any changes yet and haven’t had a normal pay period (no OT or 2017 related bonuses) this year, but I guess I will see…
If this is the criteria for that I definitely wouldn’t let my children work in a restaurant, retail, any entry level or seasonal/summer resort type job, babysitting, etc. I guess I will have to find them a job with the family business, whatever that may be. Then maybe once they find their life’s work, then I can…
Most couples won’t have to worry about the 401(k) and part-time job thing in retirement because they won’t be together. Divorce settlements and/or death are just as likely. I think since this is a practical financial discussion that’s appropriate to point out.
Hate to break this to you, but many MARRIED couples are more like “roommates” than the people you just referred to as commitment phobic roommates. Or even actual roommate roommates. There is nothing at all inherently more grown up about being married instead of whatever other relationship people choose to be in.
This makes me want to go back to law school.
I think everyone should be prepared to be unsatisfied by Justin Timberlake in general but I think the idea that Janet’s commercial career was ended by that is revisionist. I think making flop music with her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri did it. Not to mention going off the map to marry that dude. I remember the timeline…
Someone send this to my wife.
Fortunately for me I’ve never had to deal with this. I got married before sexting took off and my wife just sends them to other men.
Lena Paul is a great actress.
Why is the loss of worse jobs really a “loss,” though? Is there a tax on every cell phone bill for the loss of phone operators (a much better job than retail)? Is there a tax on every new car for the loss of horse and buggies?
That would make sense, but the robots they use now need people to keep them going and are not capable of doing what the human workers do. not to mention all the issues that have to be fixed constantly. They’ve mostly replace walking, but that’s about it so far.
Except Walmart actually did and still does pay wages that allow full-time workers to qualify for food stamps. Amazon does not.
I commented here before that where I live Amazon pays more than the SNAP limit for households of 1,2,3, and 4 for anyone who works at least the “reduced time” schedule. And that’s with no other workers in the house. Someone working there 36 or 40 hours with a 4 person household would actually not be eligible or would…
I think most of the wage complaints are about warehouse workers (though they are paid more than anywhere else), but I’ve seen complaints about the corporate culture and treatment of the other workers.
When I scan the headlines for all the Gizmodo verticals, the Root seems to be the one doing the most serious in-depth stories about these and similar issues. Perhaps you confused them with Jezebel.
What should be the starting wage for a warehouse associate? $20? $25/hr? I’m just curious what people think. My observation of local jobs is that the Amazon FC increased wages for similar work, including competitors and temp/seasonal jobs. Anyone can walk off the street and start working in a warehouse here for…
