We all know the solution is to make Melania the new chief of staff. The salary won’t count against her divorce settlement.

The trade war is almost certainly tied to McDonald’s re-introduction of the McRib. Traditionally, it’s been whenever pork prices dip below $0.65/lb; it’s currently sitting at $0.57.

I just hope prices for bad BBQ sauce goes up so they don’t drench the McRib in it. Worst part of the sandwich, by far.

Well, from my experience if they’re running your question it should have been done within a week or two. One of mine was accepted a while back, and I think I had only submitted only two or three days prior. At most, it was less than a week.

Wow, I managed to cast the first vote! CP.

Maybe just repost it here and let the rest of us go to town it.

(I’ll be nice, I promise...whatever disagreements we might have about pre-/post-tax tipping)

Oh don’t get me wrong, that was right call. Both of them are still on rookie contracts, and even on restricted FA contracts in a year or two they’re still not obvious negative like Butler in Year 3.

Plus, no first round exit, no crappy leadership in the locker room.

Apparently the Wolves asked for LeVert and Allen for Butler, and the Nets refused. They would only give up RHJ and Russell.

I hope LeVert makes a full recovery to prove Sean Marks right.

Guests seem preternaturally attracted to the kitchen, and tend to drift toward it until the room is so packed that new arrivals must fold into the paper-thin crevices of free space that remain.

Joe West just called a balk on Markelle Fultz.

Sometimes I’m just tired or hungover or really not into it. Do I really have to put on a show for these people full-time?

Damn, this is an excellent, fine piece. The second-to-last paragraph was particularly on point. I hope this gets spliced to Splinter.

This piece definitely deserves three or four (huge, beautiful, very powerful) sandwiches sourced from shops east of the Mississippi. We can open up choices west of the Mississippi next

Sounds like Melo’s going to have a lot more time on his hands.

But I hear it’s not the most embarrassing thing about MSU this year.

Other 2018 recipients include GOP Sen. Orrin Hatch, retired Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan Page, late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, Hall-of-Fame quarterback Roger Staubach, baseball legend Babe Ruth, and Elvis Presley.

The risk of Butler’s temperament now falls on Philadelphia, whose young stars include a future all-NBA talent in Ben Simmons, and an experienced shit-talker in Joel Embiid.

Oh definitely. I wouldn’t get ramen at a non-ramen specialty place, period but that’s often impossible in the US outside of certain cities. I will dispute with you about the average quality of ramen in Japan, but to be fair, specialty ramen shops for me in Tokyo were so widely available that I didn’t even need to

That’s disappointing to hear, though it makes sense from a culinary science standpoint.

I’m curious to learn more about how US ramen shops “learn” how to make ramen, because there’s frequently pronounced differences in flavoring that I’m not sure if it’s attributable to: lack of experience (need to eat more good

Sure, and I’m well aware of that. But it’s still compensating my server for service that he/she didn’t do (the tax). I may well think my server was really awesome, in which case I’ll just tip more, period. But there’s no logical basis by which to calculate the tip on the post-tax.

Ultimately, the difference isn’t huge

Yeah, he’s been pretty good this year, though it shouldn’t be at the expense of KAT’s shots.  But you’re right, Houston with him, Harden, Paul, Gordon, and Butler is definitely The Island of Misshaped Guards.
