Yup, totally agree. I feel like Lynch took a lot of chances with his early films that, despite setbacks (Dune), they were still so good and interesting and original that he earned himself the credibility to do that weird shit. So even if it stuff happened that was weird and/or unexplained, it was still alright, and

Good call. Only redeeming aspect of shitty libertarians.

Kurt Russel is intensely politically conservative (fun fact: he was the best man at Ted Nugent's wedding! TED NUGENT!), so I'm curious how he feels about Tarantino's marching at that NYC police brutality protest. PS fuck the police.

This episode was absurd, and not in a good way. I would mostly like to see less of the bizarre one-off things that keep happening. I get that its mostly symbolism, mostly theological, and having SOME weird shit happened that goes unexplained is fine, but every scene has two or three different things that are never

Maybe that has to do with the first season of True Detective being super awesome and the first season of The Leftovers being not awesome?

A BELT LIKE THAT COULD SURE WITHSTAND A KNIFING FROM A FUTURE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, AM I RIGHT FOLKS???

But how does he "beat" Patty? I am very curious about that part. Hoping for some jello wrestling.

Oh shit, good call. Fuck theology, all you need in order to understand the show is a thorough knowledge of classic literature. Niiiiiiice.

Oh and also, some so-called "academics" are convinced that all of the people around me disappear because I'm possessed by Azrael, the Angel of Death, ha ha.

Thats a good point, every time I see a picture of someone who's the most prolific living songwriter and a genius, they're just never wearing a jacket like that.

Good call! Definitely an invaluable resource for the media when covering those non-essential Beatles that seem to gain traction once every 20 years.

I'm surprised to see all of the glowing reviews on here. As a Mr. Show devotee (I could have definitely been one of the 72 virgins, I still have my fucking Globo-Chem bowling shirt) I thought it was good but not great, maybe a bit less than what I expected. But I shall revisit.

Well, I DON'T like it. It looks like a college sophomore made it after dropping acid for the first time. I miss the Mr. Show theme music. I know, I know, they probably didn't want to bring it back. But it was weird and simple and catchy.

If we know anything, its that lil' Davey Cross sure likes to take the piss out of Larry the Cable Guy

Jigga wha? Mr. Show has a buttload of topical stuff.

COOL WHATEVER I DONT CARE

OK GOOD IM NOT GONNA

Indeed

This song is sweet but I don't really want to read a ton of paragraphs about it
