We got to see her earlier this year at a Prairie Home Companion show. She really is just so awesome.

Stephen Marche, please take note:

Except watching someone tap dance in roller skates can be delightful. There is nothing delightful about Scott Walker.

It would be totally delightful though if he crashed and burned really early during the primary season.

Here’s the clip. Near the end of the interview you can see he looks a little emotional, too.

This is one of my personal favorites. Because it pretty much nailed GOP thinking perfectly.

I work with clinical dietitians to stay on a pretty low-calorie diet. It is mostly fibrous carbs, lean proteins with some healthy fats thrown in. But now I find out I may be eating even LESS than I thought I was?

Well, to be fair for her, it’s more of an 80¢ on the dollar situation, so I guess she’s happy with that amount.

I was a late bloomer, so I really didn’t get inappropriate older-male attention until college. Or if I did, I was too clueless to notice. (Guys my age? Yeah, plenty. But as noted above, that seemed more organic and didn’t bother me as much, but there still wasn’t all that much.) Three incidents from college stand out:

(Except for vegetable stock, and some

I kinda find it hard to believe in a state that worships its public ownership of the Packers, that an LA Lakers jersey is the most popular retro jersey.

For the footlong hotdog, I would like to present this concession from the Minnesota State Fair:

I nearly left my husband over the illness and death of my mother. She had Stage IV cancer, and over the year between her diagnosis and death, I helped out quite a bit. He had untreated anxiety at the time, and his self-absorption levels didn't go to 11 - they went to 1,000. I had absolutely nothing in the way of

Yeah. My cousin and his wife decided several years ago they were going to be vegan. While the rest of my family pretty much just ragged on them, I dropped them a note. I was once vegetarian, and have plenty of vegetarian friends who started out as vegan. And then realized how hard it is to be out in the world as

I have never been to Disney Land, so I cannot say. I think WDW is more resort-like, yes?
