I don’t think the Fresh Prince or Cosby franchises were as much about being black as something like Black-ish, though. They were groundbreaking because they positioned black people within the worlds familiar to white audiences. They were popular in part because they showed black people doing “normal” things. These new

If the Spice Girls can do it, anyone can.

I had the serologic test done because I traveled to Central America before I knew I was pregnant and over a month before the CDC warnings came out in mid-January. I and my insurance was responsible for paying the blood draw at my OB office. The cost of the tests are covered by the government. It’s a public health

You just made me realize Always Sunny represents a diverse segment of the U.S. voting public.

Lupita Nyong’o is in a Broadway play called Eclipsed that I think has similar female representation, if not even more remarkable.

Just wanted to point out that Eclipsed made history by being the first Broadway play to have a female writer, director, and all female cast.

I hate this man. I hate that he says nothing and people keep talking to him regardless. I hate that people will think this is not inappropriate behavior. I hate that this woman’s looks will now determine whether or not she deserves it. I hate that anyone is asking him this morning to chime in on events, but no one has

I’ve got two azalea bushes in my backyard. One is named “Iggy” and the other one, which gets more sunlight, is named “Ms. Banks.”

I am. She only has “so much baggage” because she has been in the spotlight on a national (and international) level to a degree Sanders hasn’t. If Clinton had been a male Senator from a small state for that length of time, she might have had more opportunities to take risks.

MY GIRL. I’M SO PROUD. I’M SO EXCITED. IT’S *OUR* TURN NOW.

You’re right she is running against Sanders, and he’s playing fast and loose with his reasons behind opposing DOMA:

Gay lady here. I can’t speak for all of my community at large, but in the wake of this controversy I’ve seen something really important happening which I find incredibly valuable. People are sharing their memories of the Reagan years and the AIDS crisis, talking about loved ones who suffered and died, and many

Brooklyn Heights is like that fancy VIP section of the mall they won’t even let a lot of us *walk through*.

Thank you. It was cancelled due to lots of people showing up to his event who disagreed with him.

THANK YOU! Outside, the rumors were that his people saw just how many protesters had managed to get tickets and they cancelled the event rather than have him speak to an openly hostile crowd.

After Trump’s Chicago rally was cancelled due to mayhem and violence

Hahahaaa, this is amazing. This actually makes me like Macklemore a little.

YOU DON’T SAY.

What we can conclude, using common sense, is that Yale rarely expels people and people with nearly unassaultable privilege are rarely held to account for their actions. It doesn’t seem absurd to conclude whatever he was expelled for it was incredibly egregious and the proof offered was conclusive.

Although it is absurdly likely that sexual assault is the reason for the expulsion, it’s still not certain that that’s why. The question isn’t “did he do something to get expelled?” it’s “what did he do to get expelled?” Could be a major non-sexual assault, could be theft, blackmail, any number of horrible things that
