Overall, this season exceeded by expectations. And while I wouldn't rank it among the best dramas this year, it has the potential to be what The Leftovers is. There are so many routes they can go and I am excited to see where this all leads, especially with Eddie and his family.

I am loving this show more and more each week. It so gets the complexity of having faith and family intertwined. I grew up Catholic but moved away from the church. I can tell my mom and grandma get upset when I tell them I don't go to church on sundays anymore, as if they see it as a failure in me as well as in

You P.C., bro?

Have to disagree. It's too easy for this show to just make Cal a typical power hungry villain. It seems like the show goes out of its way to show how badly he wants to connect with someone. There was that one episode where he asked three different people to stay for tea and it was quite a heartbreaking moment, because

Great episode. Although, my minor quibble would be that Eddie didn't confess to hawk about his non-existent affair with Miranda. It would've been more poignant to share with Hawk how he was struggling with his faith.

As much as I love this show, does anyone else get as frustrated when the gang continually fucks up and shoots themselves in the foot?

Paddy's Pub vs. Cheers

They were saving that for sweeps.

I can see her becoming Cal's right hand thug. Also, is Sarah's brother more malevolent than he lets on? He's always whispering to Cal.

This show keeps getting better and better. I'm hoping the show stays away from the idea of Sarah and Cal hooking up and focus on them becoming rivals over control of the movement.

I'm no pharmacist, but what were those pills in Tessa's medicine cabinet? Is she depressed or sick?

I love this movie. To me, Amanda Peet stole the film during the lunch scene when she shows Affleck she's as morally corrupt as her father and expects him to be the same.

The only thing that tops a Wilson Fisk beat down is a Wilson Fisk threat during said beat down.

The scene that got me was when Karen saw what Frank did to those men in the diner. Deborah Ann Woll has been fantastic this year.

I am from Dallas, so hearing Mac being a secret Cowboys fan put a smile on my face.

I was hoping her spin-off would be called "The Bitch," where she's called a bitch for the entire show.

Love that Charlie doesn't know people drink orange juice without it being a mixer.

Someone needs to make a montage of all the times Dee has been called a bitch.

"Saint Patrick didn't play the flute. He drove the kids out of Ireland…and then he molested them."

I thought that was her!
