You can’t have segregation without diversity, otherwise who are the segregated if everyone is the same race? Duh? Yes your city is incredibly diverse. And also segregated! Go to a major metro area like Houston if you want to see what diversity with little segregation looks like.

The dry canals in la and oc have definitely seen successful escapes by people on bikes. Not an easy task but it’s happened.

You can outrun the police. It happens. Occasionally because they can’t keep up, more often because it’s not worth the collateral damage. Regardless, it has and will continue to happen.

I got a speeding ticket in high school because a tiny little plane was timing me as I passed over white lines painted horizontally, a mile apart, on the interstate. No radar. Just a stopwatch. There were a lot of cars getting tickets on the same stretch at the same time.

Is it that much of a stretch to say bigger fish may get by when law enforcement is pursuing something like this? Seems pretty reasonable, no? Cost/benefit seems iffy. Maybe it’s just me.
