I bought an ‘07 Civic in ‘09 with 44k on it. After almost a decade she’s sitting at just under 170k and still runs like a top; starting to show a little rust but should still be good for another few years. So I could see myself taking out a 7 year loan on a brand new one.

I had a ramp I parked in when I lived in an apartment because it was 1/4 the cost of my buildings parking. One day I returned to my car to find rain water had been dripping on the side from an upper level, covering the whole side of my car with a mineral coating; it looked like the whole side of my Civic was covered…

Dump the GT-R motor in the Z, keep it RWD. Add electric motors to the GT-R.

Ha, truth. Just bought an Alltrack because I wanted a GTI/R wagon. Planning on lowering and tuning it next summer.

I always said “Wu-Tang is the city that I travel with.” It never made any sense to me. Everything is so clear now.

These and the Buick equivalent are soooo damn ugly. I dry heave every time I pass one.

I just picked up a lightly used 2017 Golf Alltrack for right around $20k. Love it so far, that would be my recommendation. 

My fiancée’s grandma is now on her 3rd transmission in her Focus, and she said she can feel this one crapping out already.

You can get a used one around $50k. You could “afford” one making $30-40k a year if that’s your priority. 

I guess I am in the minority as well.

Shit, I just spent ≈$20k on my Alltrack and that was hard for me to get over haha. Hope you’re able to get one!
