I think Dean was actually great in season 1, almost too good to be true, in fact. He was very sweet, and while he was not the consumed bookworm Rory was, he definitely was not an idiot. I truly think they made him dumber in season 2 to make Jess be more appealing.

I can’t get behind that, the Emily thing. Kelly Bishop was amazing, no contest, and Emily could have moments of brilliance and humanity, but she was as a general rule a horrible snob, and occasionally a horrible human being.

I was already an adult when he did High School Musical as a teen. Then a few years later I see him in promos for 17 Again, and Neighbors and I’m like, wow, he sure grew up fine.

If the Planet Money podcast episode about the Birkin bag taught me anything, it was that this, a Birkin right in the Hermes window, would never happen. Walk into any Hermes and ask for a Birkin, and they will inevitably tell you that they don’t have any.

I was 20 pounds or so lighter too by the time I started college. And I was convinced I needed to lose 5 pounds. I look at pictures now, and I cannot fathom where I could see those supposed 5 extra pounds.

What? Isn’t James Cameron behind Dark Angel?

Agreed. I used to be one of those “If the kid is old enough to ask for it, he’s too old for it”. I ended up nursing my 2nd child until she was nearly 3 y.o., and it felt totally right for us. She loved it so much, I could see no reason to stop it until she was ready...

I’m with you on not considering your boobs not back. Breastfeeding a toddler is way less demanding than breastfeeding an infant or baby! For me, by that age it was twice to three times a day, for 15 minutes or so. It really did not feel like that big of deal, just some nice cuddling time with my daughter.

Aaaahh. Since he appeared as early as season two, he really did not cross my mind that he could be one to take the wind of the show for anyone.

I had a massive crush on Robert Patrick too at the time. I not only was re-energised by his presence, but was among the few who felt the show was too, as the dynamic between believer Mulder and sceptic Scully felt really tired at the end. It was interesting to see Scully as a reluctant (or at leat unnatural) believer

Rat Boy? Drawing a blank here.

Thanks!

I love TAL, been listening to it for at least 10 years now. It was my gateway into the world of podcasts.

Oh. my. God. I must know what that is from! Please!!!???

Well... That’s what you get for calling it a “Super” hospital.
