It also makes more sense that he found the photo of Lana's GF if he's the murderer. Not sure what a polite doctor would be doing looking through drawers, albums, etc. and coming across that photo they presumably keep hidden.  Even if he was there to check on her and found blood, I doubt he would have started going…

Andrea's a terrible character. She's such a good character in the comic but on the show she's off. Like, mentally. Her flirty drink with the Governor was so bizarre. It's like her brain goes out the window when a man is around, and even when there isn't a man around she has no trace of cynicism or self-preservation.…
